The last few years Green and Energy efficient features have become much more popular in building and remodeling. Many people who are selling their homes have spent a considerable amount of money on energy efficient features and there has been no single resource in our area to find these properties. Seeing this as a local need I recently took it upon myself to create a website that would allow all agents in our area to post homes with green or energy efficient features in one convenient place. It is also a place where local Green professionals can offer their services to people who are looking to add energy efficient features to their home.
If you have a listing that has some energy efficient or green qualities, or has an Energy Star or Healthy Built Home designation, feel free to send me a link to the home with any supporting documentation and all of your contact information and I will post the information on this new website with a link pointing right back to you. Hopefully if we can get all of the homes that have Green features in one spot then it will make it much easier to help our potential clients buy or sell Green homes in the Catawba Valley market.
This service will be free for all Realtors® in the Catawba Valley; however I will probably sell advertising space to local contractors and service providers to help with the cost of maintaining the site.
